A few of my works that I am selling at this time.
A word or two about the "Post Contemporary Pure Art Movement".
With a couple of obvious exceptions, the works
below typify what I call "Pure Art".
That is, each work is complete in and of itself. They do not elude
to anything else,
they do not make statements, or have content, or depict any other real or
imagined objects. The works are simply colors of a flat rectangular
surface.
Nothing else.
Other forms of art, such as modern art, and traditional art
depend upon something outside of themselves to make them complete.
All original art will be shipped in mailing
tubes. I prefer to stretch them over 1 1/2 to 2 inch thick stretcher bars.
so that they do not need additional framing.
The images will then cover the front,
sides, top and bottom of the stretcher bars.
Some call this a museum
mounting. For example, the image size of first one below
is actually 22 X 42 inches but meant to be mounted on 18 X 38 inch, 2 inch thick
stretcher boards.
Of course, you
you could mount it full size and frame it if you wished
